Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good are now engaged

The 35-year-old “Creed III” star began dating the 43-year-old actress in May 2023, just a few months before he was found guilty of assaulting and bullying his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

And on Sunday, November 17, they said Jonathan proposed while the “Shazam!” star was walking the red carpet at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles, showing off her diamond ring.

It turns out that they met for the first time in the bathrooms at the party honoring Black athletes and artists.

Jonathan told E! News at the gala, “EBONY Power 100 is the event where we met in the bathrooms, in the bathroom for both men and women.”

Even though he said he wasn’t guilty, the “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania” star was found guilty of one count of reckless assault in the third degree and a charge of harassment as a violation in December 2023.

Even though her friends told her to stay away from the star, Meagan stuck by him and doesn’t feel bad about it.

She said on this year’s “Today” show, “Yeah, every friend told me that, but at the end of the day, one thing I know is I can always look at myself in the mirror when I trust my spirit, when I trust God, when I ask God, and when I move to the beat of my own drum.”

“I can always look and say, ‘OK, I’m proud of that,'” she said. I have peace and unity in my heart, no matter what happens…

“It’s been really great that we’ve been able to help each other, pour ourselves into each other, have honest conversations, love, respect, care, and thoughtfulness one for another.”

People are paying a lot of attention to the couple because Jonathan has been in trouble with the law, but the “Harlem” actress recently said she tries to “stay authentic” and ignore the rumors.
