John Krasinski, an actor, is the sexiest man alive in 2024

People magazine has named John Krasinski their Sexiest Man Alive for 2024.

The 45-year-old actor, who is married to Emily Blunt and has two daughters, Hazel, 10, and Violet, 8, with her. He had a “blackout” of emotions when he was told he would be getting the outlet’s annual award, but he did say he thought it was a joke.

When asked what he thought, he told People magazine, “It was just an immediate blackout.” No thoughts. Besides the fact that I might be getting punched.

“When I wake up, I don’t think, ‘Is today the day they ask me to be Sexiest Man Alive?'” Still, it was the day you guys did it. “You guys have really set a higher standard for me.”

The director of “A Quiet Place” said that when his wife heard the news, she was “very excited.”

“Telling her brought me a lot of happiness,” he said.

Emily, who is 41 years old, joked that if John ever won the title, she’d put the magazine cover up as wallpaper in their house.

“Do we have that on camera?” he asked. So that’s kind of like a deal, right? It won’t be weird at all; my kids will love that.

But the former “Office” star doesn’t think his crown will make things better at home.

He joked, “I think it will make me do more chores around the house.”

“Once this gets out, she’ll say, ‘Okay, that means you’ll have to work hard at home.'”

Even though he makes jokes about it, John is very happy with his relationship with the “Devil Wears Prada” star.

He said, “It’s a beautiful thing that when you’re married, you learn new things and grow both personally and professionally.” I feel so lucky to be going through all of that with her.

The star of “Jack Ryan” has had a great acting career and is now also a good director, though he joked that it took him a while to get better at it.
