The head of the UN demands peace in Sudan, Lebanon, Gaza, and Ukraine

The world needs peace in Gaza, Lebanon, Ukraine, and Sudan, U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres told BRICS leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, on Thursday.

At the BRICS conference in Kazan, Russia, Guterres declared, “We need peace across the board.”

“Peace in Ukraine is essential. A fair peace that complies with the UN Charter, international law, and resolutions of the UN General Assembly.
