Linkin Park will release a new song this week
This week, Linkin Park is scheduled to release a new single.
This week will see the release of “Over Each Other,” the next song from their eighth album, “From Zero.”
The new song comes after the release of “The Emptiness Machine” and “Heavy Is The Crown,” and the album “From Zero” will be available on November 11.
The band’s own Joe Hahn, who also directed the music videos for “Numb,” “From the Inside,” “What I’ve Done,” “Somewhere I Belong,” and “The Emptiness Machine,” will premiere the song on Thursday, 24.10, along with the accompanying music video.
Joe wrote on Instagram: “@emilyarmstrong and I stayed in town to shoot our next music video for #OverEachOther a couple of nights after our show in #Seoul Korea.”
“I’ve always wanted to oversee a project in Korea, and now it has come true! We made it feel like a K-drama by embracing its K-ness. Emily had a fantastic performance as usual. I’m excited to share this with everyone on Thursday of next week. We are grateful to the actors, the team, @kongseongha, and the other boys from @linkinpark.
In September, Linkin Park made a comeback with a new drummer and singer.
With Rob Bourdon replaced by Colin Brittain on percussion and Emily Armstrong on vocals for Dead Sara, the rock band “Breaking the Habit” has ended its self-imposed hiatus, which began with the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington, who committed suicide in 2017 at the age of 41.
In a statement, founding member Mike Shinoda described how the band came to decide to bring Emily back as singer: “The more we worked with Emily and Colin, the more we enjoyed their world-class talents, their company, and the things we created.” With this new lineup and the energetic and lively new music we’ve created together, we feel incredibly empowered. We continue to explore new audio touchpoints while integrating the ones for which we are recognized.
