England’s FA charges Kudus following a scuffle in the London Derby
Following Saturday’s English Premier League game, the Football Association has charged West Ham United, Tottenham, and African star Mohammed Kudus.
Following a VAR review at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which Spurs won 4-1, the Ghanaian offensive midfielder was given a straight red card in the final moments of the London Derby match.
As a result, Kudus will automatically be suspended for three games when Hammers play Manchester United in another Premier League match on Sunday.
The 24-year-old former Ajax Amsterdam player has been charged by the FA, though, and if proven guilty, he may be subject to a lengthy punishment.
Following their Premier League game on Saturday, October 19, Mohammed Kudus, West Ham United, and Tottenham Hotspur were charged, according to a statement.
Around the 82nd minute, Tottenham Hotspur is accused of failing to make sure that none of their players acted inappropriately or provocatively.
Allegedly, West Ham United neglected to make sure that their players didn’t act inappropriately, provocatively, or violently at the same moment.
After the offense for which he was sent off, Mohammed Kudus is accused of acting improperly and/or using violent conduct.
Mohammed Kudus, West Ham United, and Tottenham Hotspur have until Thursday, October 24, to respond.
With two goals and one assist in ten games this season across all competitions, Kudus is one of West Ham’s most important players.
