“WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD,” says Quincy Brown in support of Diddy after his arrest
Quincy and his siblings fully support the controversial businessman.
In a statement, Quincy Brown expressed support for his adopted father, Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is incarcerated on several egregious offenses.
“Our family has suffered greatly over the last month. Brown, 33, started the Instagram post with a family photo of the Combs clan. “Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media,” she said. “We are all standing together, helping you at every turn. Knowing that the truth will triumph out and that nothing will weaken our family’s resolve, we cling to it. Dad, you are loved and missed.
Brown’s remarks come after another from him, his siblings Christian Combs, and the twins D’Lila and Jessie Combs that was made public after an unconfirmed “memoir” purportedly written by their late mother, Kim Porter, went viral on Amazon before being taken down.
“There is really no truth to the claims that our mother wrote a book. And she didn’t. And it is false for anyone to say they have a manuscript,” the statement said. “Please realize that any ‘friend’ standing in for our mother or her family is neither a friend nor acting in her best interests.”
They also addressed Al B. Sure!, Quincy’s birth father, who asked that Porter’s death be looked into more after Diddy was arrested. The singer stated that Combs and others working under his direction might have contributed to her death since she allegedly had plans to expose the mogul. Porter’s kids, however, don’t agree.
They stated, “The cause of her death has long been established, but it has been extremely difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon.” “No foul play was committed.”
A tense connection has existed between Quincy and his biological father over the years; in 2009, Quincy wrote a letter to the singer of “Nite & Day,” inquiring as to why he was “absent” from his childhood. Al B. Sure!, whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown III, recently said on Angela Yee’s Lip Service that he and Q are on better terms today.
“I believe we have a great relationship. The “dad thing” is something he tries to do a lot. However, it seems that we are not truly at that point in our lives. “We’re homies first and foremost,” he remarked. “We say, ‘Let’s go do something,’ you understand? The realization that we are both adult men is, in my opinion, where we are currently at. Know what I mean? We can talk about anything and everything. It has nothing else to do with it.
