Five people were shot and killed in Washington State; a 15-year-old suspect is in police custody

Five people were killed in a shooting in Washington State, and the suspect, who is 15 years old, has now been arrested.

Monday, police in Washington state said that five people were killed in a shooting at a home near Seattle. A 15-year-old boy has been arrested for the killings.

The King County Sheriff’s Office says that the victims were three children and two adults. A girl who lived at the house was also hurt.

A spokesman for the sheriff’s office, Mike Mellis, said that the suspect was caught by officers without any problems.

The police haven’t said for sure if everyone involved is from the same family, and they’re still trying to figure out why the violence happened.

The sheriff’s office said that early Monday morning, police were called to a home in Fall City, which is about 10 miles east of Seattle, to multiple reports of gunfire.

The department says that a neighbor with some medical training was able to give first aid before the police came.

The boy was taken to the King County youth detention center and will likely go to court for the first time on Tuesday or Wednesday, according to the sheriff’s office.
