Zelenskiy claims that he was informed of North Korean involvement in the war in Ukraine

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, he was informed on Monday of Russia’s intentions for the autumn and winter, as well as North Korea’s involvement in the conflict in his country.

Kyiv asserts that Russia’s forces have employed ballistic missiles and ammunition cartridges supplied by North Korea, a growing ally of the Kremlin, in their conflict with Ukraine.

In his nocturnal address to the nation, the Ukrainian leader provided the most recent information on the cooperation between Russia and North Korea. He stated that he had previously met with senior Kyiv officials to receive reports.

“The intelligence services’ report regarding the Russians’ intentions for the autumn and winter was one of the most significant.” The information was quite detailed. He stated that North Korea’s genuine involvement in the conflict.

He did not furnish any additional information. It occurred the day after he stated, without providing any further details, that North Korea had transferred personnel to the Russian armed forces.

The statement was unable to be independently verified by Reuters.

Last week, South Korea’s Defense Minister, Kim Yong-Hyun, stated that “there was a high possibility” that North Korea could deploy personnel to assist Russia. The statement was deemed “fake news” by the Kremlin.
