Snoop Dogg is set to release his latest album, “Missionary”

Sting and Jelly Roll will be collaborating with Snoop Dogg on his forthcoming album, “Missionary.”

Next month, the 52-year-old rapper will release his most recent album, and he has confirmed that the former Police frontman and the country performer will be contributing to the material.

When addressing the Bloomberg Screentime conference, Snoop stated, “I received a feature from Sting and Jelly Roll.” “I am truly delighted that Sting and I have produced such an exceptional record.”

The artist behind the hit single “Gin and Juice” disclosed that he has been “infatuated” with Sting for an extended period of time and was not frustrated by the opportunity to spend time with the “Englishman in New York” singer.

Snoop remembered, “We socialized and relaxed.” Similar to a child who is enamored with a vocalist, and they are able to meet them, and they fulfill all of their expectations.

“That is a pattern that I consistently experience: I encounter individuals who fulfill all of my expectations.”

The star has been hinting at the release of “Missionary” for several years and is thrilled that Dr. Dre is producing the album. The two previously collaborated on Snoop’s debut record, “Doggystyle.”

“The last time he produced an entire Snoop Dogg album was in 1993,” he stated. So, this is a reunion, and it is a collaboration between two friends who genuinely adore one another. Our mutual understanding is that we are more effective when we collaborate.

Earlier this year, Dre hinted that the record would feature a “amazing roster of artists” and that the music would exhibit a “different level of maturity” in comparison to their previous collaboration.

According to the lyricist of “Let Me Ride,” “We were children at that time, you know what I mean?” I believe I am six years older than Snoop, who was likely 18 or 19 years old.

“At that time, we were both children, and this individual will demonstrate a distinct level of maturity through his lyrics and my music.”
