Lupita Nyong’o, who plays Black Panther, has revealed that she and Joshua Jackson, who used to be on Dawson’s Creek, are no longer together.

Lupita Nyong’o, who plays Black Panther, has revealed that she and Joshua Jackson, who used to be on Dawson’s Creek, are no longer together.

The Kenyan-American star told Harper’s Bazaar UK about the news while she was being shot with her cat, Yoyo.

There were first rumors that Lupita and Joshua were dating when they were seen together at a Janelle Monáe show in Inglewood, California, in October 2023. This was soon after Lupita broke up with South African musician Hugh Masekela.

The two were seen walking hand-in-hand in Joshua Tree, California, in December 2023. Later, in March 2024, they were seen hugging in Mexico while celebrating Lupita’s 41st birthday.

But in September 2024, Joshua was seen in public with another woman, which made people wonder what was going on with their relationship.

Lupita revealed that she was single on October 9 by saying, “My love for my cat is singular.”

As Lupita talked about her beloved pet Yoyo in her Harper’s Bazaar UK interview, she said, “If I’m ever lucky enough to be in a relationship again, it’ll be because of him.” It was about time for me to lock that door, but he made sure my heart stays open.

Lupita adopted Yoyo last year, and the bond between them seems to be what’s making her feel better right now.
