Three hours of silence are broken by Will Smith’s fart on the movie set

A movie set was clear for three hours after Will Smith farted “so bad.”

To film a scene for a 1997 blockbuster in which the fast-moving car they were in changes shape, the 56-year-old actor and his “Men in Black” co-star Tommy Lee Jones had to be “hermetically sealed” inside a pod. But as soon as he got inside, he let loose.

“We were getting ready to shoot Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, and Tommy does not suffer fools, I’ll tell you that,” the movie’s director, Barry Sonnenfeld, told Kelly Ripa on her “Let’s Talk Off Camera” show.

“This thing has to be used to turn this car into a hypercar, and they have to go through the Midtown tunnel upside down.” Like in the old days when you would get on planes from the runway, we need to bring over a ladder on wheels. We shoot after putting them in the thing, turning it over, and getting them up there.

“It’s locked so it can’t open and fall.”

“When I tell the camera to roll, I hear Will Smith say, ‘Oh Jesus, I’m so sorry.'” I’m sorry, Tommy. Take the steps, Baz. That’s fine, Will, you can hear Tommy saying. Will, don’t stress. “Will, don’t worry.”

When the star first said sorry, Barry had no idea why.

In response, he said, “So we race the ladder over.” Yes, Tommy puts out his leg as the ladder comes over and runs down the stairs too quickly. I found out that Will Smith farts. There are just some farmers.

There was a Will Smith fart, and the 71-year-old director admitted that it wasn’t a good place to be.

He also said, “At the Disney ranch, you don’t even want to be sitting next to him.” For three hours, we left the stage. This is really amazing.

He’s a nice guy, you know. His fart is all. Not all of them do, though.
