UEFA hopes to sell 720,000 tickets for the 2025 Women’s Euro

People can now buy tickets for the women’s Euro 2025 soccer event in Switzerland. UEFA made about 250,000 tickets available to the public on Tuesday.

On the Jungfraujoch pass, 3,454 meters above sea level, the sale began with a game between great women’s football players and up-and-coming stars.

“Around 720,000 tickets are on sale for the tournament as a whole,” UEFA said in a statement.

“With this first ticket release, more than 250,000 tickets for all 31 matches of the tournament are available on a first come, first served basis.”

For 25 Swiss Francs ($29.51), the cheapest ticket was sold.

Fans of the 16 teams that will be playing in the tournament from July 2–27 will be able to reserve about 120,000 tickets. The event will take place in seven venues around Switzerland.

The drawing will take place in Lausanne on December 16.

“Ticket holders travelling within Switzerland will benefit from free public transport,” the UEFA said.

“Euro 2025 will be more than just a tournament; it will be another sign that women’s football is on a path that can’t be stopped,” Nadine Kessler, managing director of women’s football at UEFA, said.

“Our goal is to sell all 720,000 tickets and we want fans from Switzerland, Europe and beyond to join us as we make history next summer.”

One dollar is equal to 0.8471 Swiss francs.
