Kevin Hart backs off of rumors that he is connected to Diddy

Kevin Hart has taken back the claims that he is connected to Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The comedian, 45, was linked to the rapper’s sexual assault scandal after old video of him at one of Combs’ famous parties came to light again. Kevin can be seen talking to the camera while holding a microphone near a bathtub, and behind him, a candle sets the hair of a woman wearing scantily clad clothing on fire.

Someone from DailyMail.com asked Kevin about “hosting” parties with Combs while he was on his way to dinner with his 40-year-old wife Eniko Hart at LAVO in West Hollywood. Kevin replied, “When I hosted for Diddy? You should not ask that person that question.

Kevin said, “Wrong person, wrong question” when asked if he thought Combs would be safe in jail, where he is being held on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.

After that, he was caught on tape leaving with his wife and guardian.

Combs, 54, is currently in jail in New York after being charged with 14 pages of crimes. The charges say that for decades he “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.”

They also said he “created a criminal enterprise” whose members and partners were involved in “sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”

People say that Combs abused women sexually at his now-famous “Freak Off” parties, where he supposedly set up hotel rooms with “controlled substances, baby oil, lubricant, extra linens, and lighting” for the wild parties.

The rapper has pleaded not guilty to all charges and says he is not guilty of the sexual assault claims made against him in several cases.

His trial has not been set, but he has a status meeting on October 9.
