“Friends got me into drugs, but they left when I got broke,” says rapper Mr. Blue

Mr. Blue, a veteran Bongo Flava singer, has talked about how the stress of fame made him turn to drugs. With his unique voice and hit songs like “Mapoz,” Mr. Blue talked about the personal problems that come with being famous.

Mr. Blue told the BBC not long ago that he had never used drugs before he became famous. But when he got into the music business, everything changed. “I was a kid with no friends when I started making music.” But once I became well-known, everyone wanted to be close to me and act like they cared. Because I have a good heart, I didn’t think twice about letting people into my life. When someone nearby smoked (cigars or bhang), it was easy for me to join in. Soon, drinking became a normal part of my life, and I stopped going to the studio and became involved in drug abuse, Mr. Blue revealed.

The rapper, who just remixed his hit song “Mapoz” with Diamond Platnumz and Jay Melody, said that his friends started to disappear as his money got tighter. “When I first started out in music, I was a calm and focused young man, but the people I trusted led me astray.” I was broke and the people who said they loved me kept leaving me after I finally understood what was going on. But I’m thankful that God helped me get through it. “Losing my mother when I was young, getting married, and having a child brought me back to reality because I had new responsibilities,” he said.
