Disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs has been apprehended

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was apprehended and placed in federal custody on Monday, September 16, 2024.

Detained at the Park Hyatt hotel in New York, the 54-year-old rapper is currently under federal investigation and is facing numerous allegations of sexual abuse and trafficking, all of which he has denied. Nevertheless, the charges are not yet revealed.

According to Damian Williams, the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York, they are “founded on a sealed indictment.”

Diddy’s attorney expressed disappointment and maintained that his client may be “imperfect,” but he is not a criminal.

Marc Agnifilo, his attorney, informed TMZ. “We are disappointed in the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s decision to pursue what we believe to be an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs.” Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proved philanthropist who has dedicated the past three decades to the development of an empire, the support of his children, and the advancement of the Black community.

“He is an imperfect individual; however, he is not a criminal.” Mr. Combs has been cooperative with this investigation and voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges, which is to his credit. Kindly refrain from rendering a decision until you have obtained all relevant information. These are the actions of an innocent man who has nothing to conceal, and he eagerly anticipates the opportunity to clarify his name in court.

Last week, Diddy was the subject of yet another lawsuit following the allegations of sexual abuse by Dawn Richard, a member of Danity Kane.

The star claims that the rap magnate threatened her and her Diddy-Dirty Money bandmate Kalenna Harper after she witnessed him abuse his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. However, she has denied the allegations.

Kalenna informed TMZ that she was not aware of any behavior that could be construed as abusive or unlawful during her time as a collaborator with the proprietor of Bad Boy Records.
