The foreign minister of Iran has denied that missiles have been delivered to Russia
Iran’s foreign minister stated on Wednesday that the United States and three European powers’ sanctions against Iran would not resolve any issues between the two countries, and Tehran had not supplied any ballistic missiles to Russia.
“The United States and E3 continue to act on the basis of flawed intelligence and faulty logic.” Ballistic missiles have not been delivered to Russia by Iran. In a post on X, Minister Abbas Araqchi stated, “Sanctions are not a solution, but rather a component of the problem.”
The E3 is composed of France, Germany, and Britain.
Antony Blinken, the Secretary of State of the United States, stated on Tuesday that Russia had acquired ballistic missiles from Iran and was likely to deploy them in Ukraine within the next few weeks. “He stated that the security of the entire European continent was at risk due to the cooperation between Moscow and Tehran.”
The United States, Germany, Britain, and France implemented new sanctions against Iran on Tuesday, which included sanctions against its national airline, Iran Air.
The Kremlin denied on Wednesday that Iran had transferred missiles to Russia, stating that allegations regarding a variety of arms transfers were unfounded.
At the same time, the Dutch Foreign Minister, Caspar Veldkamp, announced on X that the country was advocating for “new, robust EU sanctions” and summoned the Iranian ambassador.
