Master P discusses the difficulties he faces in expanding his cereal business while dealing with ongoing legal disputes against Walmart and Post

Master P is sharing insights into his experiences in the food industry.

Recently, the No Limit mogul had a conversation with Lamar Tyler, the host of “Traffic Sales and Profit,” to talk about his achievements in the business world. When Tyler inquired about the relative difficulty of starting a food or music business, the 54-year-old promptly highlighted the challenges of breaking into the cereal industry. This was partially due to the absence of adequate representation.

“In this lane, it’s just me and Snoop,” P stated, referring to their jointly-owned Snoop Cereal.

In February, the pair filed a lawsuit against both Walmart and Post Foods, alleging that the companies collaborated to prevent Snoop Cereal from being sold in stores. Customers and fans of the rappers filmed videos in the Walmart breakfast aisle, seemingly demonstrating the absence of food. Post responded, stating that they had made investments in P and Snoop’s business, but the demand was lower than anticipated. It’s uncertain if the lawsuit is still in progress, but P assured Tyler that he has no intention of ceasing his endeavors.

It’s concerning on the cereal side, as even our own team members are fearful…We were on the corner, evading and avoiding bullets. “You think I’m going to let these people in corporate America dictate what we can and can’t do?” he defiantly shared during the panel.

In addition, P has launched a variety of other food brands, such as his Master Crunch Cereal. He is also a partner of Rap Snacks, showcasing rap artists on the cover of its chip bags. Furthermore, P and Snoop have their own Momma Snoop oatmeal brand, which they assure is a nutritious choice.
