A total of 40,405 Palestinians have been slain in Israel’s military offensive on Gaza since October 7, according to the Gaza health ministry

The Gaza Health Ministry has reported that Israel’s military offensive on Gaza since Oct. 7 has resulted in the deaths of at least 40,405 Palestinians and the injuries of 93,468 others.

Three “massacres” by Israel in the Gaza Strip resulted in the deaths of 71 individuals and the injury of 112 others within the past 24 hours, according to the ministry.

According to Israeli tallies, the most recent conflict in Gaza commenced on October 7, when Hamas militants launched an attack on Israel, resulting in the deaths of 1,200 individuals.

Israel asserts that it takes great care to prevent civilian casualties and accuses Hamas of employing human shields, a charge that the organization denies.
