Two toddlers are killed and sixteen injured in a bombing in Pakistan

Two children were murdered and sixteen others were injured in a bombing in southwest Pakistan on Saturday, according to police authorities.

The remote-controlled bomb that was mounted on a motorcycle exploded close to police headquarters in Pishin, injuring seven police officers, according to Manzoor Buledi, the senior superintendent of police for the city, who spoke to Reuters.

According to police officer Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman, “explosives were planted in a motorcycle which was parked in the area,” and the two youngsters who died were going through the area at the time of the explosion.

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, expressed his profound sadness and anguish at what he described as the explosion’s “martyrdom” of small children. He sent his condolences to their families in a statement and said he was hoping for the injured police officers and other event victims to make a full recovery.
