Luis Enrique has stated that PSG is not in a rush to make a purchase, despite Ramos’ injury

Luis Enrique, the manager of Paris St Germain, stated on Thursday that the club will not rush into the transfer market, despite the injury to striker Goncalo Ramos. The club is averse to pay a premium for any player.

Ramos sustained an ankle injury during the 4-1 victory over Le Havre last weekend. He is anticipated to be sidelined for a period of up to three months, which is a significant setback for the team, which is already in the process of selecting a new goal scorer to replace Kylian Mbappe following his departure to Real Madrid.

I regret the loss of a player; it is always disheartening; however, it does not alter the situation. “I have great confidence in all the players who make up my squad; we have a very good team,” Luis Enrique informed reporters prior to the match against Montpellier on Friday.

We are currently monitoring the transfer window to determine whether a player is available at a reasonable price, as we already have a team that has won the competition.

“We will not purchase it if the price is silly.” We are not in a hurry.”

The challenges that a club such as PSG faces when seeking to acquire a player or any other asset were elaborated upon by the manager.

“When a big team like Paris Saint-Germain has to buy a washing machine, instead of four euros it costs 400, and then the washing machine has to work like a washing machine that costs 400 euros, but it only cost four euros,” he explained.

Nevertheless, we have already achieved success last year with exceptional arrivals, and this year, I have a team that has made significant progress in all aspects.

“So we have no emergency, I repeat, no emergency, but I repeat, we are always attentive and likely to improve things at the same time.”

The manager is not anticipating an easy game, despite the fact that PSG won 3-0 at Parc des Princes and 6-2 away from home last season. Consequently, they will host Montpellier.

“It’s difficult because it’s the beginning of the season, there is no team that is 100% yet,” he explained.

“But we have a lot of hope, we are very motivated, tomorrow’s match means getting back in touch with our supporters, and we hope to win at the end and that the fans have a good time, that’s our goal.”
