Suspected quarry serial murderer escapes from Kenyan police station

Police in Nairobi, Kenya, reported that a man who was apprehended on suspicion of murdering multiple women and disposing of their remains in an antiquated quarry absconded from police custody on Tuesday.

The discovery of at least six bodies bundled in plastic bags in Kware quarry, which is currently utilized as a rubbish landfill, led to Collins Jumaisi’s arrest last month.

According to police spokesperson Resila Onyango, he and 12 other Eritrean nationals were able to escape from the Gigiri police station.

According to the police, Jumaisi confessed to the murder of 42 women, including his wife. However, his attorney informed the court that he was subjected to torture in order to make the confession. Prosecutors refute allegations that he was subjected to mistreatment.
