Beyoncé has collaborated with Moet Hennessy to introduce SirDavis American Whisky

Beyoncé has disclosed her most recent business venture, and it is not related to the visuals.

The unveiling of SirDavis, a new American whisky, has been announced by the vocalist of “16 CARRIAGES” in collaboration with Moët Hennessy.

According to a press release, SirDavis has been in the making for years and provides “an unexpected twist on American whisky with a bespoke recipe, unusual maturation process, and one-of-a-kind taste profile that draws inspiration from Japanese and Scottish styles—perfectly suited to Knowles-Carter’s whisky ideal.”

The whisky was developed in collaboration with Dr. Bill Lumsden, a highly regarded Master Distiller, who challenged category norms by “fusing the soft elegance of malted barley with the complex, rich character of rye to create a uniquely harmonious blend of fruit and spice.”

Beyoncé has a longstanding fondness for whisky, as evidenced by numerous tracks. Upon discovering that her great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, was a farmer and moonshiner in the American South during Prohibition, she was inspired to develop her own liquor. The bottle’s design is intended to pay tribute to the Texas origins of both Hogue and Knowles-Carter, something that the latter has been increasingly emphasizing since the release of her most recent album, Cowboy Carter.

On Tuesday, Bey disclosed the information via Instagram, sharing a series of breathtaking photographs in which she donned an all-white outfit. She holds a glass of her new whisky in the first image and includes a link to the SirDavis website in her caption. The caption reads, “DAVIS IN MY BONES 🥃…”
