After the Olympics, Henry Soccer resigns as coach of the France Under-21 team

Days after his side fell to Spain in the Olympic final, the French Under-21 national soccer team announced on Monday that Thierry Henry has resigned as coach.

Henry ended his contract, which was set to expire in June 2025, citing personal reasons, according to a statement from the Federation Francaise de Football (FFF).

Henry received praise following his team’s Olympic performances. Henry is his country’s second-all-time greatest scorer and won the 1998 World Cup as a player for France.
