Zari Hassan inquiries about the worth of her husband Shakib following their altercation over a diamond

“Maybe you should find people on your level: What do you bring to the table for me to be here proving myself?” A note from Zari Hassan to Shakib Lutaaya, nearly a year after their lavish nuptials.

Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan, who resides in South Africa, has openly chastised her spouse Shakib Lutaaya for his excessive insecurity.

After celebrating her daughter Tiffah’s ninth birthday recently, the mother of five has opened out about her frustrations. She says that Shakib feels threatened by her relationship with her baby daddy, Tanzanian music sensation Diamond Platnumz.

Diamond gives her daughter a birthday surprise

To celebrate her daughter Tiffah’s special day, Zari hosted a lavish all-white party at her opulent Pretoria house on Saturday, August 10, 2024.

Close friends and family attended the celebration, and everyone looked amazing. Tiffah’s father, Diamond Platnumz, flew to South Africa to surprise his daughter, going above and beyond to make the day special.

During the festivities, attendees delighted in dancing and belting out Diamond’s popular tunes, such as “Komasava” and “Iyena,” which he had previously dedicated to Zari.

What was supposed to be a happy occasion, though, didn’t seem to have pleased Zari’s Ugandan husband, Shakib.

Zari talks to Shakib about his fears

Zari publicly addressed Shakib’s insecurities about her relationship with Diamond on social media after the celebration, expressing her views without holding back.

Zari sent a direct message questioning if Shakib is really the appropriate person for her. “I’m not sure that I’m for you. I choose you because I feel quite secure. If, however, you’re thinking otherwise because of your fears, perhaps you ought to look for someone who is similar to you. What do you bring to the table that would make me want to prove myself here?” said Zari.

Zari made it apparent that she made the deliberate choice to wed Shakib and that she is fully over her ex-partner Diamond.

She said, “And in the middle of all of this, my husband is still out there thinking, ‘Oh, she’s with the baby daddy,'” expressing her exasperation at Shakib’s persistent concerns. As in, my baby’s father? Do you really believe that my baby daddy is your rival?

Zari also said that although Shakib is the guy of her choice, she is courted by numerous men, even those of higher standing. She realized that Shakib loves her despite his fears, but she is having trouble believing him.

“You probably need me o send you text messages of men, presidential candidates…” she said.

Previous disputes between Shakib and Zari

Diamond-related problems have plagued Zari and Shakib in the past as well. The couple fell out in February 2024 after Zari’s appearance in a video with Diamond.

Shakib was incensed by the film, which featured the ex-couple strolling hand in hand and grinning for the cameras. He felt mistreated and taken aback as Zari had not told him ahead of time about the shoot.

Later, Zari expressed regret to Shakib and acknowledged that she ought to have informed him about the video. She did, however, also disclose that since late 2023, their relationship had been difficult. When she deleted Shakib’s photos from her social media sites, these problems became clear.

The pair overcame these obstacles to be back together, and Shakib accepted Zari’s apology for what she called an error.

Since then, they have shared personal videos on their YouTube channel with their viewers, exhibiting their love and close camaraderie while also disclosing personal information about their lives and relationships.

Zari stated in one of the tapes that in the unlikely event that Shakib decides to cheat on her, she is entitled to a second husband.

In October 2023, Zari Hassan and Shakib Lutaaya tied the knot in a private ceremony.

With her late spouse, Zari has three children; with Diamond Platnumz, she had two children. In addition, Shakib has a child from a prior union.
