50 Cent claims he “waste[d] too much time.” Beefing with Cam’ron and Fat Joe: “It Was Just the Competitive Nature”

In an exclusive interview with “The Hollywood Reporter,” the rapper shared his opinions on the conflict between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

Rap feuds aren’t always worth it.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson III, revealed in a cover story interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he wasted too much time “arguing” with Cam’ron and Fat Joe.

“Look, I think we wasted too much time arguing, me and Fat Joe, me and Cam’ron,” he stated to the media. “It was easier to clean up with other guys that are similar to Jada [kiss]. However, because of our inherent competitiveness, we squandered time. It wasn’t as though we happened to cross paths and fell in love.”

The rapper of “In da Club” went on to say that Joe, 53, was still the target of his feud because “he’s more like me.”

“When we’re at odds, we are at odds, and we did that for a long time,” 50 Cent stated. “And because of his loyalty to Irv [Gotti] and Ja because he worked with them, I was seeing him not be happy from the things that were making me happy.”

He continued, “It’s easy for me to say, ‘F— you,’ if what makes me happy makes you unhappy, then we’re not on the same page and it turns into some s—, and I couldn’t pinpoint what exactly happened.”

“No altercation or specific thing that created it,” according to 50 Cent, happened.

“Now he’s like my friend, and I don’t care that he has relationships with people that I don’t, because he’s always had those relationships,” the musician and “Many Men” musician stated.

In addition, 50 Cent talked about his two-decade-long battle with Ja Rule, claiming they have never communicated.

The hip-hop artist made comments about the rap feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar at other points in the interview.

“Hip-hop is what this is. It is, I believe, somewhat competitive. Even Drake’s stance, demeanor, and decision-making are products of 50 Cent. “Everyone needs to understand it then, f— it.” “When it comes down to it, it’s Drake vs. Kendrick because that’s the only thing you can do to stop Drake from becoming successful,” 50 Cent stated.

He clarified that the 37-year-old artist of “Hotline Bling” is going through “a backlash from success.”

50 Cent stated, “I don’t see a loss for Drake.” “When Drake releases his next single, the same folks who previously purchased his music will do it again. Your entire f—ing career is ruined by the things I do now.”
