TFF has released the shortlist of players for the 2023/24 Premier League awards

Eight players have been selected as finalists for the 2023/24 Premier League Best Player of the Season in the upcoming Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Awards.

The 2024 TFF Awards will take place on August 1st at the Super Dome in Masaki, Dar es Salaam. The list for the Best Player of the Season features Stephanie Aziz Ki (Yanga), Feisal Salum (Azam), Kipre Junior (Azam), Djigui Diarra (Yanga), Ley Matampi (Coastal Union), Kouassi Yao (Yanga), Ibrahim Bacca (Yanga), and Mohamed Hussein (Simba).

The nominees for the Best Midfielder category are Aziz Ki, Feisal, and Kipre. Kouassi Yao, Bacca, and Hussein will be competing for the Best Defender category.

The finalists for the Best Coach of the campaign are David Ouma (Coastal Union), Bruno Ferry (Azam), and Miguel Gamondi (Yanga). For the Best Player of the CRDB Bank Federation Cup, the nominees include Aziz Ki, Clement Mzize (Yanga), Feisal, Bacca, and Kipre.

Mbwana Samatta, Novatus Dismas, and Himid Mao are among the finalists for the prestigious Best Male Tanzanian Player Award, recognizing their outstanding performances while playing abroad. The nominees for the Best Female Tanzanian Player Award, who are playing outside Tanzania’s borders, are Clara Luvanga, Aisha Masaka, and Oppah Clement.

Additional awards to be given out during the event will encompass the Tanzania Women’s Premier League, the NBC Championship League, and the First League.
