FKF announces the categories that will be recognized during the Gala Night

The 2023/24 season Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Awards Gala is scheduled to be held at Safari Park Hotel on Friday, July 26, 2024.

This event aims to acknowledge the exceptional individuals and groups who have made significant contributions to Kenyan football. It will honor players, match officials, partners, and fans from the recently concluded FKF Premier League and Women’s Premier League.

Celebrating Achievement in Various Fields

The FKF Gala is dedicated to acknowledging and honoring outstanding achievements in a wide range of categories. The categories for this year’s awards are:

Player of the Year: Honoring the standout player whose performance, skill, and contributions to their team have been exceptional throughout the season. Golden Glove: Recognizing the top goalkeeper in the league.
Golden Boot: Acknowledging the leading goal scorer whose exceptional ability to score goals has propelled their team to success.
Coach of the Year: Recognizing the coach whose exceptional leadership, strategic prowess, and ability to inspire have propelled their team to great heights.
Referee of the Year: Honoring the match official whose unwavering integrity, impartiality, and sound judgment have consistently upheld the essence of the game.
Fair Play Award: Recognizing the team or individual who has demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, respect, and fair play both on and off the field.
President’s Award: A prestigious honor given to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to football, bestowed at the discretion of FKF president, Nick Mwendwa.
Social Media Manager of the Year: Recognizing the outstanding achievements of the individual, who has demonstrated exceptional creativity and effectiveness in promoting their team’s brand and football through their engaging and innovative social media presence.
