Strong Manhattan Law Firm Severs Relationship With Diddy Following Lady Gaga’s Departure Threat

Grubman, Shire, Meiselas, and Sacks, a Manhattan law firm, sacked Sean “Diddy” Combs, dealing him a serious blow.

Actress and pop singer Lady Gaga allegedly threatened to leave the legal company, prompting them to take action.

Lady Gaga reportedly gave the company till midnight to decide, and they finally decided to support her over Diddy on the grounds that she was “too big to lose.”

Diddy was dropped by the Manhattan Law Firm because it didn’t want to take the chance of other celebrities quitting.

According to a source who spoke with NewsNation, Diddy was no longer a client of the legal firm Grubman, Shire, Meiselas, and Sacks.

The troubled businessman was already working with the law firm when he changed his stage name from “Puff Daddy” to “P. Diddy” in 2001, having represented him for more than 20 years.

Despite their long-standing collaboration, it’s thought that the artist Lady Gaga, one of their other clients, gave them an ultimatum, leaving them with no other option.

Even Diddy’s strong friendship with one of the listed partners, Allen Grubman, was unable to halt the falling axe.

The insider claimed, “Lady Gaga said she was leaving [the firm] if they didn’t drop Diddy,” and that the company believed “she’s too big to lose” and that her departure would inspire other celebrities to follow suit.

Due of sexual accusations, several companies have severed their ties with Diddy.

Not just the law firm severed their relationship with Diddy in the past few months. Not long after the owner of the record label received several allegations of sexual assault from various women at the end of last year, several Black-owned companies broke up their association with Diddy’s e-commerce platform, Empower Global.

Among the companies that took this approach was Nuudii System, whose CEO, Annette Azan, announced the move in a People magazine interview.

The shapewear and undergarment entrepreneur stated, “As soon as we learned of the allegations against Sean Puffy Combs, we pulled Nuudii System off of Empower Global.” “Our brand caters to ladies. Women are people we believe in and support. The maltreatment of women is not f-cking uplifting!”

At the same time, the House of Takura issued a statement stating that they “find such behavior abhorrent and intolerable” and “take the allegations against Mr. Combs very seriously.”

“We do not at all condone any of Mr. Combs’ alleged actions,” they continued. We uphold the rights of victims and encourage them to come up, even in the face of the most influential individuals.”

Regarding the assault video, Diddy was instructed to return the key to New York City.

In addition to losing out on potential money, Diddy’s reputation has suffered greatly.

Following the release of a widely shared video showing the rapper abusing his former girlfriend, Cassie, in a hotel corridor, Mayor Adams withdrew Diddy’s access to New York City earlier this month.

Adams wrote to Diddy pleading for the key’s return, saying, “I strongly condemn these actions and stand in solidarity with all survivors of domestic and gender-based violence,” according to the New York Post.

He continued, “Our city has worked tirelessly to make sure survivors are heard and seen by our administration.”

Similarly, Howard University’s board of trustees unanimously decided to rescind the honorary degree they “conferred” upon him in 2014.

In order to completely sever all links with him, they also terminated a “2023 pledge agreement with the Sean Combs Foundation, disband the scholarship program in his name, return his $1 million contribution, and terminate a 2016 gift agreement with Mr. Combs.”

Diddy Deleted Every Instagram Post He Ever Made

Diddy also removed all of the images and videos from his Instagram page in June, including the one in which he apologized to Cassie for hitting her.

Then, rumors started to circulate that the relocation might have something to do with Cassie. He erased all of his earlier postings in addition to the apology, but insiders told TMZ at the time that the gesture was not meant as a “dig” at his ex-girlfriend.

They also mentioned that Diddy had previously cleaned down his Instagram page, implying that no one should be shocked by his latest move.

The rapper has not posted anything on his Facebook since the unexpected turn of events, yet he is still visible in posts where he was tagged.

Diddy issued an apology for what he did in the graphic video.

The rapper said he was accepting “full responsibility” for his behavior in the discovered surveillance footage in his since-deleted apology video. Diddy said that following the incident, he sought treatment and checked himself into rehab because he was “disgusted” by what he had done.

The rapper remarked, “It’s hard to think back on your worst moments, but sometimes you have to. I was messed up. I mean, I really did reach my lowest point, but I don’t apologize. My actions [in] the video are unacceptable. I accept all accountability for the things I did in that video. I’m abhorred. When I did it, I was disgusted, and I still am.”

He went on, “I went and I looked for expert assistance.” Had to start seeing a therapist. Rehab was necessary. needed to beg God for his forgiveness and grace. I really apologize. However, I’m determined to [be] a better man every single day. Furthermore, I’m not pleading for pardon. I apologize sincerely.”
