Azam FC offloads four players, including Ayoub Lyanga
Four players, Ayoub Lyanga, Edward Manyama, Malickou Ndoye, and Issa Ndala, have been released by NBC Premier League team Azam. These players will not be participating in the 2024–2025 season.
The foursome received well wishes for their future football careers outside of the Chamazi-based outfits via the club’s verified Instagram page.
Captain Daniel Amoah was the first player to be offered an exit door, and Azam has already bid farewell to five players. After finishing in second place the previous season, Azam and Young Africans (Yanga SC) will play for the nation in the CAF Champions League the following season.
Adam Adam, a previous player for Azam, has already returned to the team after signing a one-year contract to play for Mashujaa.
They have also added Jhonier Blanco, a striker from Colombia who led the country in goals scored in the Categoria Primera B after leading Fortaleza CEIF with 13.
Last season, Azam finished in second position on the log after scoring 69 points from 30 games.
