Prominent Simba SC players Miquissone, Ntibazonkiza, and Bocco were among those let go

Luis Miquissone is the fourth player that Simba SC has let go as they continue to reorganize the team in preparation for the 2024–25 local and international leagues.

On July 22, 2018, Miquissone returned to Simba from Egypt’s Al Ahly, where he had been hired, but he had left the nation.

He had signed a one-year renewable contract, but the club offloaded him because of his performance, according to the announcement made public through the Simba App.

He was on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns at UD Songo when he first joined us in January 2020. During that time, he had a strong showing and was well-liked by the supporters.

“He returned from Al Ahly in July of last year, when we hired him, but his performance was not as strong as it had been, therefore the management has decided not to renew his contract. He has participated in 19 Premier League games since joining us last season, scoring one goal in the Mapinduzi Cup and providing three assists.

According to the information, “The management is keen to make major improvements of our squad ahead of next season and Miquissone is not part of our plan.” It also wishes him luck in his new life away from Simba.

John Bocco, Saidi Ntibazonkiza, and Shabani Chilunda are the three players that the giants from Msimbazi Street have already removed. Best wishes for their future pursuits were extended to the trio, who also received gratitude for their valuable contributions during their time at the club.

During his seven-year tenure, Bocco, who joined the team in July 2017 from Azam FC, helped Simba win multiple trophies. During his seven-year tenure, Bocco, who joined the team in July 2017 from Azam FC, helped Simba win multiple trophies.
