Arsenal will take on Wolves to begin the league title campaign

Arsenal will be aware that if they hope to beat Manchester City to the title on their third attempt, they will need to make a major splash early in the season.

The Gunners have finished second in the division over the past two seasons, and last time out they forced eventual winners City to the 2023–24 season’s final game before heartbreakingly losing.

This time, Mikel Arteta’s team will travel to Tottenham Hotspur on September 14 and then visit the Etihad seven days later. This week could be crucial for the Gunners’ chances of winning a championship for the first time in more than 20 years.

In addition to those two matches, there is a difficult journey to Villa Park to arrange on the second day of the new season, followed by a 13-day triple-header in October and November that includes Liverpool (H), Newcastle (A), and Chelsea (A).

On December 3, one of the biggest games in the football calendar, Arteta and company will play their ancient rivals, Manchester United, at the Emirates.
