The new Napoli manager is Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte, a former manager of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, has been named Napoli’s new manager on a three-year contract.

After serving as manager for 16 months, the 54-year-old left Spurs in March 2023 by mutual consent. Since then, he has not managed.Even though his tenure in North London was unsatisfactory, Conte has had a distinguished coaching career. Prior to being fired in 2018, he had won the FA Cup in his second season at Chelsea and the Premier League in his first (2016–17).

“Napoli is a significant location on the planet. The prospect of sitting on the blue bench excites and makes me happy, said Conte, who led Inter Milan to their first Serie A championship in eleven years in 2021.

“One thing is for certain, I will give it everything I have to help the team and the club succeed. My entire crew and I will be fully committed to this.

Between 2011 and 2014, the Italian also led a formidable Juventus team to three consecutive Serie A championships. Napoli, which previous year won Serie A for the first time in thirty-three years, found it difficult to repeat the feat and ended the season in ninth place.

Due to their dismal performance, the club fired manager Walter Mazzarri after just three months in charge, and Slovakian coach Francesco Calzona was brought in in February on a temporary contract that would last until the conclusion of the season.
