Player of the Season in the Champions League is Vinicius Jr.

Following his leadership of Real Madrid to European triumph, Vinicius Junior was recognized by UEFA authorities on Monday as the Champions League Player of the Season. His teammate Jude Bellingham was awarded the young player title.

During Real Madrid’s successful season, Brazilian striker Vinicius scored six goals and provided five assists, including the second goal in the team’s 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the championship match on Saturday at Wembley.

Real Madrid were the European champions for a record-tying 15th time with the victory.

The 23-year-old Vinicius remarked, “I’m very happy to be able to win another Champions League with this club, which has given me so much.”

Bellingham, an England midfielder, was selected as the season’s best young player in the Champions League following an outstanding debut with the Spanish powerhouse.

The 20-year-old helped Real Madrid win the Spanish league championship while contributing four goals and five assists in the Champions League.

“It’s impossible for me to express,” he remarked. “This is my greatest night ever. When it comes to the ideal season, it must rank highly.”
