Tyson’s ulcer flare-up causes the Netflix livestreamed boxing match between him and Jake Paul to be postponed

The organizer of the event announced that Tyson’s recent ulcer flare-up has caused the fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, which was initially planned to be live on Netflix, to be postponed from July 20.

By this Friday, June 7, the fight’s new date will be revealed, as per Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian’s Most Valuable Promotions, who are co-producing the match with Netflix. According to MVP, the fight, which was declared in March, will happen at the same location—AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas—at some point in 2024.

“The highly anticipated boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will unfortunately be postponed,” Most Valuable Promotions announced in a statement on Friday. Following up with doctors on Thursday on his latest ulcer flare-up, it was suggested that Mike Tyson undertake moderate to light training for the next few weeks before going back to full training without any restrictions.
