Police taped off Drake’s mansion following a shooting incident that injured a man

Police have cordoned off rapper Drake’s Toronto mansion after a startling gunfire incident that left one person hurt.

The shooting reportedly happened close to Drake’s land. The rapper, who is currently embroiled in a contentious legal dispute with fellow musician Kendrick Lamar, has pledged to assist law enforcement officials in their investigation of the event.

According to reports, the “One Dance” crooner is unharmed following the gunfight that happened close to his Toronto estate. Drake’s security guy was shot and gravely injured, according to the New York Post, and police have cordoned off the musician’s $100 million estate.

The security officer was reportedly wounded in the upper chest and sent to the hospital immediately for emergency surgery. Drake, however, is assisting the police while remaining cooperative.

According to Toronto Police, there is currently no description of the individuals involved in what appears to have been a drive-by gunshot, and the suspect fled the Bridle Path community.

The rapper’s breathtaking 50,000-square-foot estate, known as “The Embassy,” shot to fame in 2020 when Architectural Digest featured it.

Since I was constructing it in my hometown, I wanted the framework to endure for a century. Drake explained to AD that he intended to construct a long-lasting residence in Toronto. “I wanted it to have a monumental scale and feel.”

The startling gunshot at Drake’s house coincides with his intense rivalry with rapper Kendrick Lamar.

The two musicians have released a number of songs in which they accuse one another of horrible deeds. with one of his diss tracks, Kendrick Lamar rapped about Drake being a “pedophile.” Drake has subsequently refuted this grave accusation with his own song, “The Heart Part 6.”

“I never been with no one underage/ but now I understand why this the angle that you really mess with,” Drake sings. “Just for clarity, I feel disgusted, I’m too respected / If I was f–king young girls, I promise I’d have been arrested / I’m way too famous for this sh-t you just suggested.”

Later on in the song, he made it clear that his name “is not a name that you gon’ see on no sex offender list.”

Actress Millie Bobby Brown, with whom Drake has had a contentious friendship since she was 14, was mentioned by Drake in his diss track rebuttal to Lamar. In addition, Drake sang about Whitney Alford, Lamar’s fiancée, saying she uses him as her phone’s screensaver.

“I’m your baby mama’s screen saver,'” Drake does rhymes. “Only f—kin’ with Whitneys, not Millie Bobby Browns, I’d never look twice at no teenager.”

In his earlier diss singles, “Not Like Us” and “Meet The Grahams,” Kendrick Lamar leveled grave accusations against a fellow member of the industry. He even went so far as to utilize a picture of Drake’s Toronto home, which was covered in sex offender markers, as the cover art for one of the songs.

I hear you like ’em young, Drake. Say that again. You would best avoid going to cell block one at all / To every girl who talks to him and they fall in love / On “Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar raps, “Just make sure you hide your lil’ sister from him.”

Following Brown’s description of him as a “great friend and a great role model” and her claim that they texted each other, the friendship between the rapper and actress, who were 14 and 31 years old, became highly contentious.

According to Brown’s earlier disclosure, she was invited to one of Drake’s concerts. Following their meeting, the rapper started advising her “about boys” and “helping” her.

Following the controversy surrounding her remarks, Brown addressed the issue by defending her bond with Drake.

“Why must you make your headline about a sweet friendship? According to Daily Mail, Brown said at the time, “U guys are weird… for real.”

Drake seemed to touch on the subject last year as well in his song “Another Late Night.” He began to rap, “Weirdos in my comments talkin’ ’bout some Millie Bobby, look / Bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin’ / Or send a finger to your mama in some FedEx boxes / Open up that sh-t, it’s jaw droppin’, really shockin’, ayy.”

Shawn Michaels, a well-known wrestler, has invited Drake and Kendrick Lamar to the WWE to square off and finish their rivalry.

Following Lamar’s diss tune “Not Like Us,” in which he rapped about his well-known wrestling maneuver, Michaels entered the scene. Lamar stated in the song, “Sweet Chin Music and I won’t pass the aux.”

Michaels responded to this by writing on X, the former Twitter, saying, “A little Sweet Chin Music goes a long way.”

“You and @Drake are formally invited to WWE NXT to settle this,” he said to @kendricklamar. In fact, I’m volunteering to mediate.”
