Inter Milan wins the Italian Football League title after defeating AC Milan

After a highly competitive match that ended in a thrilling derby triumph over AC Milan, Inter Milan has won the Italian league.

After a thrilling 2-1 victory against city rivals AC Milan on Monday, Inter Milan has impressively won the Italian league title.

Even though AC Milan’s Fikayo Tomori scored a late consolation goal, Inter Milan prevailed thanks to goals from Francesco Acerbi and Marcus Thuram.

Three players received red cards during stoppage time in a match characterized by tense moments and dramatic endings. Theo Hernandez, Davide Calabria, and Denzel Dumfries of Inter Milan were all sent -, leaving AC Milan with nine men at the end of the match.

Having only lost once in the league, Inter Milan had a dominating 17-point advantage over Milan in second place, demonstrating their domination throughout the season.

Lautaro Martinez, the captain of Inter Milan, said, “We find ourselves in a situation that’s never happened before,” after the team’s historic victory. Look around—the entire stadium is now ours, so we had to seize this opportunity.

The joyful mood at the San Siro persisted despite the downpour as Inter’s supporters celebrated the team’s victory by holding up signs of their upcoming championship and sending a strong message to their opponents.

This is Inter boss Simone Inzaghi’s sixth trophy with the team and his first Serie A championship. For their roles in the team’s achievement, Steven Zhang, the chairman, and the players all received praise from Inzaghi.
