At a 50th birthday celebration, Victoria Beckham reunites with the Spice Girls for an epic singalong

The birthday celebration for Victoria Beckham on Saturday got a little heated.

The fashion designer, once best known as Posh Spice, celebrated her fiftieth birthday this past weekend in London at an elegant event. Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Melanie Brown, and Melanie Chisolm, the former members of the Spice Girls, also attended.

A video of the five women singing along to their 1997 hit song “Stop” at the party was uploaded to Beckham’s Instagram page on Saturday, and it appeared to be an amazing karaoke moment.

They also seemed to recall the dance moves for the iconic song, which they can be seen executing in the video, as if no time had passed at all.

“The most amazing night ever! To me, happy birthday! “I adore you all so much,” she captioned the photo.

Soccer player David Beckham, Beckham’s spouse, seems to have been the one to record the spontaneous sing-along and can be seen in the video showing joy at the historic reunion.

It was the first occasion in years that all five of the original members had been seen together. The last time all five Spice Girls members performed together was during the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.

Known by their stage identities Baby Spice, Ginger Spice, Sporty Spice, and Scary Spice, respectively, Bunton, Horner, Chisolm, and Brown got back together for a tour in 2019, but Beckham declined, stating she wanted to concentrate on her family and her flourishing business.

The British girl trio took a break in 2000 to pursue separate careers after releasing their debut album, “Spice,” in 1996. Among many other hit songs, “Say You’ll Be There,” “Wannabe,” and “2 Become 1” helped them become well-known.
