UCL: Ancelotti claims Madrid is not on a mission of retribution against Man City

Before they prepare for their second leg of the quarterfinal on Wednesday at The Etihad, Real Madrid’s coach Carlo Ancelotti said that the team has gotten past their heartbreaking Champions League loss to Manchester City from the previous season.

In the previous season’s semifinal first leg, Real Madrid and City drew 1-1 at home before Pep Guardiola’s club, who won the competition for the first time, thrashed Real 4-0.

In an exciting first-leg quarterfinal match last week in Madrid, Real and City battled to a 3-3 draw.
