Jackie Chan provides an update after fans voiced worries about his appearance due to health issues

During some concerns about his health during a recent appearance, Jackie Chan sent his followers an update.

The actor, who turned 70 on Sunday, April 7, was seen wearing grey hair when he attended an event in March.

Given that Chan is currently 70 years old, it is expected that he has some gray hair.

However, a lot of followers expressed concern over his health and well-being, saying he appeared older and more fragile than usual.

Online, one person wrote: “This guy looks like he’s 20 years old! When I last saw him, he appeared youthful.”

One person said, “Damn look super old.”

A third person said, “That’s absurd.” You can’t fathom some celebs becoming older. Their leading parts just remain with you. Still, I believe he is as capable of kicking ass as the others.”

Chan has now responded to the rumors about himself in a post commemorating his birthday.

He posted on Facebook, saying, “To all my dearest friends and fans from all over the world.”

“Many friends have been telling me, ‘Jackie, it’s going to be your 70th birthday,’ even before today.

“My heart would pause every time I heard this number—I’m now seventy years old? The second thought that would cross my mind after getting over the shock is something my older brother Sammo Hung once said: “being able to grow old is a fortunate thing.” We stunt people in particular are unaware of how fortunate we are to be able to age.”

“Not too long ago, a lot of friends saw some recent photos of me on the internet, and they were all concerned about my health,” he continued, speaking about the pictures from the occasion.

“I would like to use this chance to reassure everyone that they need not worry! It’s merely a cameo in my most recent film. I have to look old and have white hair and a white beard in order to play the part.

“I’ve always been open to trying new things for a film throughout the years, whether it’s a difficult stunt or a character’s big screen debut. I’ve worked in the entertainment industry for 62 years, and I’m grateful for every second of it because I get to continue shooting.”

Chan thanked followers for their birthday greetings at the end of the post. Chan’s credits include Rush Hour, Supercop, and Little Big Soldier.
