The legendary boxer Mike Tyson said he is “scared to death” of facing Jake Paul

In an upcoming exhibition match, YouTube sensation Jake Paul will take on boxing icon Mike Tyson, who is regarded as one of the greatest fighters of all time.

In his storied boxing career, Tyson has achieved everything; Paul, on the other hand, has fought in just 10 professional bouts.

Nevertheless, Tyson acknowledged that because of his tendency to face his fears, he is “scared to death” about the battle.

“My personality may be peculiar, but I don’t think it’s strange. I do anything that I’m terrified to do. It is that way,” Tyson remarked. “I was terrified of the 2020 Roy Jones Jr. fight.”

“Let’s do it,” I said, even though I was 100 pounds overweight and 54 or 53 years old. Whatever it is that I’m terrified of, I face. That’s who I am. I’m really worried right now.

His subsequent comeback fights against Roy Jones Jr. and others terrified him just as much, but he claimed that getting over his fear of flying “catapulted” him to success.

“I’ve always thought that facing challenges and being anxious were what ultimately propelled me to success. I wouldn’t have entered this struggle if I didn’t feel this way. To fight, I have to feel these things. I would never step foot in the ring without them.

Tyson said that as the bout draws nearer, his anxiety will fade and he will feel “invincible” in the ring because “reality” will have set in.

Tyson, who has boxing expertise, knows that Paul has come a long way from his early YouTube videos, and he expects Paul to try to injure him violently.

“I get less anxious as the fight draws nearer because it’s a reality. And I’m unbeatable in real life.

“I came upon a video on YouTube of him performing strange dances at the age of 16. “I’m not going to fight that guy,” he declared. “This guy is going to come, he’s going to try to hurt me, which is what I expect, but he’s going to be really wrong.”
