Ugandan artists captured for ‘insulting’ Museveni

Eight individuals of a Ugandan music band have been captured for complaining that the president’s discourse at the end of the week was as well long, nearby media report.

The complaint by one of the band individuals was seen as an offended to President Yoweri Museveni, who was talking amid the 50th wedding commemoration celebrations of previous Prime Serve Amama Mbabazi and his spouse Jacqueline Mbabazi on Saturday night.

The individuals of the Crane Entertainers band were talking in the neighborhood Runyankole dialect, agreeing to security sources, secretly claimed Uganda Radio Organize news site reported.

The band individuals are affirmed to have said “Rutabandana Waturusya Rugahamuzindaro”, which freely interprets to “over speaker, we are tired, take off the microphone”, the report added.

The performers are supposedly being held at the Kampala Central Police Station.
