Malawi: Police Captures Vendors of ‘Ambuye Tengeni’ Liquor That Has Murdered 4 Individuals in Blantyre

Police say they have swung into operation to capture those offering an unlawful alcohol called “ambuye tengeni” in the southern locale which has murdered five individuals in Blantyre on Saturday.

Four individuals who inebriated the alcohol are getting medicine at Ruler Elizabeth Central Clinic in Blantyre.

Southern locale police representative Joseph Sauka said officers are all over alcohol offering focuses in the locale to appropriate and capture those offering the liquor.

Meanwhile, the burial service benefit for one of the individuals who kicked the bucket of suspected liquor harming, Exertion Pemba, is underway at Manase Township in Blantyre.

Pemba’s uncle Andrew M’bwana says his nephew’s passing has astounded the family.

“We have more questions that have no answers. We fair put everything in the hands of the All-powerful God,” he said.
