Hulu freeloaders watch out: The password sharing crackdown is officially here

The recent policy went into force this week, restricting people who don’t reside in the similar house from sponging on subscriptions. It was already in action for subscribers who sign up on or after Jan. 25.

The streaming package sent an email in January informing subscribers that it would forbid sharing accounts with people outside of their house in March.

The adjustment to the Hulu subscriber agreement is similar to a renew to the Disney+ subscriber agreement late previous year.

Hulu describes a household as a “collection of devices associated with your primary personal residence that are used by the individuals who reside therein.”
