Actress Jenifer Lewis who featured in the American notable series ‘Black-ish’ has described how a 9-hour surgery in Kenya spared her life after enduring a critical injury from a fall.

On March 13, 2024, the actress made the revelation while speaking on “TMZ Live” where she detailed her terrifying fall while in Africa.

Lewis stated that the incident took place when she was at the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania for a vacation in late 2022.

It was supposed to be the best time since they just wrapped up the production of Season 8 of the show as the actress described.

According to her, the incident occurred when she walked out onto a deck at her lavish room, describing that she did not see a big gap in the deck between her and the infinity pool since it was very dark outside. She quickly fell down 10 feet and crashed to the ground rendering her weak to move, prompting her scream for help.
