PRESIDENT OF ZANZIBZAR – NEW FOOTBALL KITS

The president of Zanzibar and the chairman of the Revolutionary Council Hon. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi has said that the jerseys he launched will be used in competitions of representing the country both inside and outside in different categories.

President Dk. Mwinyi has said that when he officially launched the Zanzibar National Team jerseys on 26 January 2024 at the Nyamanzi Showgrounds in Western City Province.

President Dk. Mwinyi has explained that the challenge for Zanzibar to participate in competitions organized by the African Football Federation (CAF) including AFCON competitions is to be given a mystery through the Ministry of Sports in collaboration with the Zanzibar Football Federation (ZFF).

On the other hand, President Dk. Mwinyi has congratulated the designer of clothing in the country Law Ngowi for the creativity of those jerseys.

He also thanked CRDB bank for seeing the importance of supporting the government’s efforts in sports.

The same way the government that is trying to teach coaches in the country and encourage the development and establishment of sports academies in preparing the best national team for regional and international representation.

The President Dk. Mwinyi has called on institutions that protect the rights of the rights to protect those jerseys and to take legal steps for anyone who will be considered to make those jerseys without the permission or special permission from ZFF.
